QUALITY ASSURANCE COMMITTEE


The aim of EBTN’s Quality Assurance Committee to upgrade the quality of vocational education and training by promoting and supporting a sectoral approach on Quality Assurance in the banking and financial services sector.

The objectives of the Quality Assurance Committee are:

  • Facilitate the concrete application of the EQARF Indicators and 10 Guidelines;
  • Support the creation and dissemination of good practices on Quality Assurance;
  • Facilitate the increase of awareness on EQAVET within banking and financial services sector organisations through a bottom-up approach;
  • Motivate and concretely support providers of vocational education and training in the banking and financial services sector in setting up, implementing and evaluating their Quality Management System

The committee is composed of the following EBTN representatives:

  • Mr Colin Morrison (Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland – UK)
  • Ms Maria Siigova (International Banking Institute St. Petersburg – Russia)
  • Mr. Peter Szovics (Institute of Banking Education of the National Bank - Slovakia)

European Forum of Vocational Education and Training

EFVET’s role as an organisation is to promote, stimulate, foster and encourage this process and to disseminate the good practice that emanates.

Mission:

  • to act as an agent for collaborative projects with TVET (technical and vocational education and training) organisations in outside Europe
  • to represent the views of its members issues in the European public forum and provide a platform for the European Commission and others to consult

  • to facilitate networking and partnership
  • to enable widescale promotion and dissemination of innovative measures and transnational projects
