Aim

The IoT4SMEs proposal pursues the main objective of qualifying new professionals able to support the digital transformation of the European companies exploiting to the advantages offered by the IoT (Internet of Things) technology. The project aims also at facilitating the dissemination of the IoT technology among European SMEs.

Objectives:

  • Facilitate the application of IoT technologies among European Small and Medium Enterprises
  • Raising awareness among European SMEs about the potential benefits of the IoT technologies for their competitiveness and economical growth
  • Formare professionisti che siano in grado di utilizzare e gestire la tecnologia dell’IoT all’interno di aziende Europee
  • Creating VET qualifications for professional inside European companies connected to IoT technologies’ application
  • Enhancing digital competences of professionals and training them to introduce and manage IoT technologies and applications

Results:

  • raining needs and labour market analysis concerning the application of IoT technologies
  • VET qualifications, designed according to the Lifelong Learning instruments (EQF, EQVET and EQAVET)
  • Interviews and showcases, remote laboratories, application of distance learning methodologies
  • Design of VET courses to obtain IoT4SMEs qualifications. All the didactic materials, realized as Open Educational Resources, will be available on a e-Learning platform
  • Handbook of best practices concerning the application of IoT solutions
